Invitation for an African/American Studies Teacher
We are writing to invite a teacher to come and give a talk at our school in Reynosa in Mexico on the boarder of McAllen, Texas to seventh and eighth graders. The teacher may talk on a subject of his or her choice for example, demystifying sterio types, exclusion/inclusion of the media, affirmative action, or icons outside the realms of sport and entertainment. The purpose is to create awareness durgin Feburary, Black History Month.
Your teacher would charge our school a nominal fee, for the tutition and towards transport, and we would cover the cost of accomodation, and some meals.
Our School has teachers from Australia, USA, Canada and Mexico. We are interested in providing a diverse global education so that our students will graduate as well balanced individuals. Our subjects are taught in English with a ten percent Spanish component.
If you are not interested at this time, would you please foward this email onto a school who may. It would be an honor to have a teacher or yours come and give a talk at our school. Your teacher would have the opportunity to see the tourist sights guide by on of our teachers during his or visit if so requested.
Sincerely
Michelle Josselyn
